The room was brand-new by friendly housekeeping, with essentials required. The breakfast was freshly cooked, the check in was early. We received wake up service for free, a nice bonus.
Its breakfast should have been included.

The rooms are well-maintained with double beds and White House view, as for instance.

The buffet breakfast was amazing... Everything you could want. The rooms and location were also great bonuses of staying at this hotel. We were literally a few minutes walk from the White House, other great attractions, and a few minutes in the opposite direction was Dupont Circle. We used the metro only a few times and that was in order to get to and from the airport and the zoo (which is free!). We were able to walk to everything else! Black Fin is a great restaurant/bar down the block from the hotel.
The whole idea of having a gym/fitness center and then charging guests per day to use it is foreign to us. The hotel also does not have free WiFi - it was ridiculously overpriced so we would walk across the street to Starbucks and use theirs for free.

Fabulous classy place, it has marvellous and handy location close to sights to be seen, and restaurants, other monuments and monumental sites. The staff are consistently courteous and very pleasant and offer wake up service and ironing free of charge. The service is exceptional, includes great parking.
Views are not so great.

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The location to all the sightseeing spots was very convenient, The staff was exceptional from the front desk service right down to the doormen. I brought my mom down to bury my father at Arlington National Cemetery and wanted everything to go smoothly. The staff, food and quality of the hotel made the 3 night stay as comfortable as possible.

The location is hard to beat. The 16th street ends at the White House itself. It is about a ten minute footwalk from the lobby to the Presidents home. The rooms was not big but very nice and luxurious. For the price payed, one of the best deals I ever had!
I do not understand why even top price class hotels charge ridiculous amounts for WIFI still. $14? Seriously! It costs them little, why not offer it on a complementary basis? Good new: Starbuck with free wifi is just across the street.

The staff were all friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the restaurant. The location was perfect, only a short walk to the metro and great restaurants. We also loved the double room with two double beds-perfect for our family needs. The access to nearby spas and gym facilities was a bonus!

Perfect location, 2 min to White House and in walking distance to most attractions. Room space was really satisfactory and it was clean and comfortable. price was good for what we get.
Decoration could be renewed but it is ok for me as far as everywhere is clean and rooms are comfortable.
